Participate in all aspects of advice and counsel to clients, including advice on compliance with federal and state anti-discrimination statutes and wage/hour issues. Draft employee handbooks and policies. Investigate and draft position statements in response to charges of discrimination and appear before agencies in connection with same. Involved in all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions. Negotiate separation agreements and releases. Represent management in grievance hearings and arbitrations.




Researched and drafted memoranda of law in support of motions to dismiss and for summary judgment under federal and state employment laws. Participated in many aspects of employment litigation including drafting pleadings, discovery and trial preparation. Conducted factual investigations and drafted position statements to the EEOC, New York State Division of Human Rights and New York City Commission on Human Rights. Areas of direct experience included Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, motions to compel arbitration and formulation of corporate employment policies.

- Employment defense litigation associate representing technology, life sciences, venture capital, and entrepreneurial clients along with established multi-national corporations in all aspects of employment law with particular emphasis on covenants not to compete, trade secrets, start-up practice, and executive contracts and severance negotiations.
- Full pre-trial litigation experience in federal and state practice including numerous court appearances on dispositive and discovery motions, depositions, full charge of cases with only minimal supervision, settlement authority, day-to-day decision-making and case strategy projection.
